Play Ball is a collaborative initiative between Major League Baseball and USA Baseball. A responsive website, Play Ball hosts educational resources for coaches, umpires, parents, and players. Other resources included are health and safety articles, support programs, and a play ball near you interactive map.

Protecting Young Elbows

Pitch Smart, a PLAYBALL initiative, provides advice and training from MLB's top orthopedic staff and MLB players. The program is aimed at providing a set of guidelines on pitching usage and injury prevention for coaches, parents and players.
