A new suite of applications. A whole new experience.
Hockey has an intense, incredible fan base. The digital experience just wasn't stacking up with the dynamics of real life hockey. We set out to change that by understanding what parts of the game intrigued users the most. Creating and validating personas to help guide new features along the way, with a customizable team screen, additonal camera angles, home & away feed selection and 60 frames-per-second high quality live video.

User Test to prove Data Design
One could assume a redesign would out-perform an old design, but we had to make sure. The core screen that powered all of our platforms was the scoreboard. Creating easy to distinguish game states, team data, scores, and penalties we needed to define and design all possible matchups. Learning from user testing we modified and simplified several elements on the tiles to achieve an easy to scan experience.
